Choosing a credit card is a big decision. It is important to know the terms and conditions associated with the credit card. Customer must know its features such as annual fees, Annual Percentage Rates (APR), and repayment requirements to make an informed decision about the card best suited for your needs.

Following are the points to keep in mind when looking for a credit cards :

1) Shop for the plan that best fits your needs.
2) Make sure you understand a terms and conditions before accepting the card.
3) Protect your cards and account numbers to prevent unauthorized use.
4) Keep a record of your account numbers, expiration dates and the phone
numbers of each issuer to report a loss quickly.
5) Carry only the cards you think you’ll use.
6) Choose no annual fee, and if possible select a card with a reward or cash
scheme.
