Goa celebrated it’s 44th Liberation Day on Monday by organising various cultural programmes. Students, colourfully dressed and representing the diverse sections of the state’s society took part in the programmes.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Pratap Singh Rane said a government which preaches freedom of speech and religion is required for running the country.
Students were excited and said they cherish this freedom which they have attained after a long fight from the Portuguese rule.
