Daman- UT of Goa
The district of Daman of the erstwhile Union Territory of Goa, Daman & Diu is situated in the Surat District of Gujarat. It is about 160 km from Mumbai.
It is situated at the altitude of 12 metres. Daman’s Temperature always remain moderate i.e neither very cold in winter nor very hot in summer. October to May are considered as the best season to visit Daman.
There are no. of places to visit like Light House (in Moti Daman Fort), Hathi Park, Bridge Side Garden, Nani Daman, Hilsa Aquarium and many more.
Visitors can also enjoy and make their journey memorable on the beaches which are the additional point for Daman Tourism. Jampore Beach and Devika Beach are among them.
Transport facility to Daman can easily be taken from the nearby cities.
