Heavy rains lashed parts of Haryana and Punjab since last night leading to a sharp fall in mercury.
Chandigarh was also hit by heavy rains since last evening flooding low-lying areas. Office-goers were the worst hit as heavy showers continued this morning.
While the maximum here yesterday had dropped to 30 degrees Celsius, the minimum today came down to 19.4 deg C, the MET said here. Read the rest of this entry »
